He, based on his 40 years of rich experience and broad perspective in his profession, told vivid and touching stories, inspiring journalism and communication students to uphold a sense of inclusiveness: they should not only literally read more books, but also should get knowledge from intangible books and practical work, in order to constantly broaden their vision and enrich themselves. Liu suggested the students keep themselves off disturbance from external environment, when they have ups and downs, and they should take hold of every minute in their youth to make breakthroughs in the future. He said, by doing so, they will gain remarkable results in the future, even in a field where they are not an expert.

At the end of this talk, Liu Yunfeng patiently answered questions from students about thesis writing and career choices. He also gifted his calligraphy works to the students, encouraging them to integrate personal aspirations into social ideal and gain wonderful life moments.

It is reported that this event was hosted by the Student Work Department of the Party Committee of Nankai University and organized by the School of Journalism and Communication.
