On September 22, the School of Journalism and Communication, in collaboration with Haitang Subdistrict, conducted a study tour activity titled My City and My Learning Journey. The event involved the organization of the Youth League branch of Class 2, undergraduate class of 2026 to visit the Tianjin iValley Innovation and Development Cluster Area and the National Convention & Exhibition Center. This initiative allowed students to immerse themselves in Tianjin, gain insights into the city, and experience its unique characteristics.
In the Tianjin iValley Innovation and Development Cluster Area, the staff provided detailed explanations to the students about the basic structure and features of the iValley. They encouraged everyone to actively participate in innovation practices. At the National Convention & Exhibition Center, students toured various exhibition halls and gained insights into the latest developments in the exhibition industry.
This study tour, with its carefully designed technology-oriented itinerary, led the students out of the campus and into innovative spaces. It allowed them to discover Tianjin's innovation and development and experience the path of progress in Tianjin by themselves. This experience further deepened the understanding of young students about innovation and development. After the study tour activity, Zhuang Lingzhi, a student from the undergraduate class of 2026, said, I'm grateful to the school and Haitang Subdistrict for providing such an opportunity that allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of Tianjin. Tianjin is a city full of vitality and energy, and various preferential policies provide innovative platforms and development opportunities for students who come to study here. In the future, I will work hard to seek opportunities to get involved.
