Creative Planet Lecture NKU Station for 2024 Spring Case Collection Competition of Academy Award of Advertising Festival of Chinese College Students Successfully Held

On April 25, the on-campus practice courses for the 2024 Spring Case Collection Competition of the Academy Award of Advertising Festival of Chinese College Students (hereinafter referred to as the Academy Award) - Creative Planet Lecture NKU Station was held in our School.

The event was attended by Jin Dinghai, professor and doctoral supervisor of Shanghai Normal University and Chairman of the Academy Award evaluation committee, Yuan Jian, Vice President of ADMEN Cultural Group and Secretary General of the Academy Award evaluation committee, Wang Xiaonan, Project Director of the Academy Award, representatives of companies that assigned the topics for the competition including China Resources Zizhu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Lunan Pharmaceutical Group, Yake (China) Co., Ltd., Lefusi Health Industry Co., Ltd., and Yumeijing, Zhao Shiyong, Dean of the School of Advertising of Tianjin College of Commerce, and some teachers and students from NKU School of Journalism and Communication, Tianjin College of Commerce, Tianjin University of Technology and Education, and Tianjin Normal University.

Vice Dean Chen Peng delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the School, in which he sent his wishes to the students: Youth have immeasurable creativity and are most creative and dynamic during the university period; it is an important period to digest and practice one’s knowledge and form one’s own style. As educators, we have been actively promoting industry-university-research integration in China’s advertising industry, and vigorously advocating various activities contributing to the promotion of university advertising education, with advertising agencies, media and companies working with the university as the main form and industry-university-research integration as the main goal. The Academy Award not only provides a platform for university education and teaching practice, but also sets up a stage for young students to show their creativity and talents. We hope that every student can truly absorb the knowledge they learn from the books into their own abilities and skills through this event, and show their talents and ideas on various stages. Youth should be full of passion and a campus should be full of excitement.

Ms. Yuan Jian introduced the development of the Academy Award and presented the certificate of “2024 Spring Case Collection Competition of the Academy Award - Advertising Education Promotion Award” to NKU School of Journalism and Communication. Ms. He Xiaoying introduced the arrangement of the Spring Case Collection Competition of the Academy Award. Representatives of the companies that assigned the topics of the competition analyzed the topics and interacted with the audience. In the end, Professor Jin Dinghai gave a lecture titled “Everyday and Extraordinary - Creating in Scenarios”, interpreting creative theories and strategies for teachers and students.

The interactive games, product trials and brand introductions during the Academy Award promotion activity not only provided the students with a more in-depth understanding of a number of brands, but also provided valuable guidance and inspiration for their creative work. We believe that every student with creative ideas has found their own unique creative direction through this activity. This activity is also part of the School’s Innovation Practice Lecture that shows the School’s engagement in education through practice.
