In the recently held ninth Tianjin university integrity education series activities, teachers and students from our school won a number of awards. The series activities themed “Striving for New Achievements with Integrity as the Foundation” were organized by Tianjin Municipal Working Committee and Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, and undertaken by Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Tianjin Modern Vocational Technology College. The activities solicited works and classroom practice cases on integrity education from universities across the city. “What Secrets Were Kept in Premier Zhou’s Box?” co-produced by the teachers and students of NKU School of Journalism and Communication under the leadership of Song Yan, Secretary of the School’s Communist Youth League Committee, won the first prize in the online lecture category. Song Yan’s “How to Use Short Videos for Integrity Education in the Vertical Screen Era” won the first prize in the classroom practice case category.

“What Secrets Were Kept in Premier Zhou’s Box?” cleverly sets suspense with Premier Zhou’s box, and unveils the secrets to show Premier Zhou’s noble qualities of hard work, simplicity, frugality, and strict self-discipline.

“How to Use Short Videos for Integrity Education in the Vertical Screen Era” is produced under the account “Teacher Xiaoyan@You”. Based on the integrity spirit of Premier Zhou Enlai, an outstanding NKU alumnus, and NKU’s integrity tradition, it creates a vertical content matrix that integrates integrity education with NKU stories, and launches a number of short videos about Premier Zhou’s incorruptible character, achieving excellent educational results with high-quality content.
