Two Works Submitted by NKU Accredited at the 34th China Journalism Award

Recently, the All-China Journalists Association announced the results of the 34th China Journalism Award. Two works submitted by NKU School of Journalism and Communication, namely, Echo of Green Mountains and Green Waters published on the APP of Xinhua News Agency, and [Human Rights Action in China] Exploring the 'Cloud' Life of Tuiwa Village, the World's Highest-Altitude Administrative Village published on the website of China News Service, won second and third prizes respectively.

This year marks the first year that NKU School of Journalism and Communication submitted works to China Journalism Award. The School, being highly responsible, actively organized the collection, review, and preliminary evaluation of news works in accordance with the correct political, public opinion and value orientations to ensure the quality and standard of the submitted works. The accreditation of two of the three works submitted is also a recognition of the work quality of the School of Journalism and Communication.

According to the coverage by Media Tea Forum, Works submitted by 10 of the 22 newly participating higher education teaching and research institutions this year are expected to win awards, with NKU topping the list.

Going forward, the School of Journalism and Communication will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the news industry, improve the quality of recommended works, and contribute more to promoting the development of media work in the new era. At the same time, NKU School of Journalism and Communication will continue to keep an eye on the new trends in the news industry, cultivate more outstanding journalistic talents, contribute to improving the communication effectiveness, public opinion leading, influence, and credibility of mass media, and promote the healthy development of journalism and communication.
