On December 27, Li Pengyue, Party Secretary of Xiaying Town in Jizhou District, along with members of the town's leadership team and leaders from the Party Committee and Villagers' Committee of Sangshu'an Village, visited NKU for a campus promotion event. Niu Wenli, Deputy Secretary of the CPC NKU Committee, received the delegation at the Balitai Campus. The two parties held a meeting on the construction of Chinese modern rural workstations, attended by He Wenxia, Secretary of NKU Youth League Committee, and relevant leaders from the School of Journalism and Communication and the School of Literature. Ji Jingcheng, a cadre on temporary assignment at NKU and first secretary stationed in Sangshu'an Village, Xiaying Town, presided over the event.
Niu Wenli stated that Knowing China and Serving China is a fine tradition of NKU. The Chinese modern rural workstations established by NKU address both the era's imperative of Chinese-style modernization development and the critical challenges of rural revitalization, serving as an important initiative to explore new models for universities to support comprehensive rural revitalization. NKU, leveraging its advantages as a comprehensive research university in talent cultivation, academic disciplines, and intellectual resources, has established nearly 100 Chinese modern rural workstations nationwide to effectively promote rural revitalization. Going forward, the university will further strengthen communication with Xiaying Town to better understand local development needs and actual conditions. Through joint efforts and close cooperation, the two sides will work together to complement each other with respective advantages and achieve win-win development.
Li Pengyue, Party Secretary of Xiaying Town, expressed gratitude for NKU's support and assistance. He provided a detailed introduction to the basic situation, resource advantages, and current development status of Xiaying Town, looking forward to even more fruitful outcomes in future collaborations between the two sides. Participants engaged in discussions centered around the in-depth development of rural workstation construction and assistance programs, and reached a consensus on cooperation intentions.
