To thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on strengthening the Party's work style construction, as well as the spirit of the Central Party Leadership's Eight-Point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct and its detailed implementation rules, the School of Journalism and Communication organized all faculty Party members to visit the Memorial to Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao on April 7 for study and research. This tour, serving as a key component of the School's thematic study program, paid tribute to the outstanding contributions of Comrades Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao, while reflecting on their noble character and luminous personalities.
Guided by docents, the group toured the Zhou Enlai Life Exhibition Hall, the Deng Yingchao Special Exhibition Hall, and the Xihua Hall, a replica of the West Parlor of Zhongnanhai in Beijing. Through an array of precious historical photographs, authentic documentary materials, and vivid scene reconstructions, the participants gained profound insights into the selfless dedication of Premier Zhou Enlai and Comrade Deng Yingchao to China's revolutionary, construction, and reform endeavors throughout their lives.
Premier Zhou Enlai and Comrade Deng Yingchao wholeheartedly served the people with absolute integrity, and consistently regarded themselves as the chief servants of the people. They frequently visited grassroots communities to listen to public voices and established the Ten Family Rules, including principles such as no pursuit of personal gain and no special privileges. Their pragmatic work style and lofty moral integrity made them eternal role models in people's hearts, setting exemplary standards for in-depth study and education on adhering to the spirit of the Central Party Leadership's Eight-Point Decision.
All participants unanimously agreed to earnestly learn from the two great leaders' outstanding qualities and lofty spirit of total dedication to the motherland and its people. They pledged to carry forward NKU's patriotic tradition, promote the Zhou Enlai Spirit, further temper Party spirit, enhance ideological consciousness, and lead by example to contribute NKU's strength to building China into an education powerhouse.
